FINANCE PRACTICE LEADER, WWF
Margaret L. Kuhlow is a respected leader in international finance and development with significant global experience. She leads WWF's Finance Practice, providing strategic direction as well as thought and content leadership to WWF’s global efforts with respect to the financial sector.
Before joining WWF, Ms. Kuhlow was Vice President of Investment Policy at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), where, among other things, she led the agency’s approach to the Sustainable Development Goals. She has also worked in development assistance as a member of the team that established and implemented the U.S. Government’s Millennium Challenge Account, leading the new agency’s approach to environmental and social assessment. She worked on issues of global macroeconomics and development with the U.S. Department of the Treasury and has lived and worked extensively in developing and emerging markets throughout her career.
She holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor ’s degree summa cum laude from DePaul University in her hometown of Chicago.
