SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, EDF
A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, Claude Nahon has worked at EDF since 1978 where she has held senior manager posts in the areas of production and distribution. Since 2003, Claude Nahon has been Director of Sustainability and Environment of EDF Group. Previously she was Deputy Director for hydroelectric generation and renewable energy. In addition to her activities in EDF, she is Council Member, representing EDF’s CEO at WBCSD (World Business Council for Sustainable Development). She is a Vice-President of IDDRI (Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations). She is a member of the leadership council of the United Nations SDSN (Sustainable Development Solutions Network) created by Ban-Ki moon, which focuses on sustainable development goals. Claude Nahon is a member of the National Academy of technologies of France.
She is a Knight of the Legion of Honour and an Officer of the National Order of Merit.
