Sophie Faujour joined EVPA in April 2016. EVPA is the largest European network of foundations & social impact investors in Europe (300 members - 30 countries).
Sophie is spreading the knowledge of Venture Philanthropy and Social Investment in France, Portugal & Switzerland. She connects individual foundations, impact investing funds and Corporates together to share best practices, favor co-investments and optimize sourcing of deals. Lately, she has taken a broader role onboarding European Corporates in EVPA Corporate initiative. She is also leading market building efforts locally through her contribution to the National Advisory Board for Impact Investing in France and local networks (CFF, ADMICAL).
Before, she was Director at BNP Paribas Wealth Management - Business Development team. She outlined the new strategy of the bank for Ultra High Net Worth Individuals & Family Offices to promote Philanthropy & Social Responsible Investment products and services. Prior to that, she acquired more than 20 years’ experience in Investment banking conducting fund raising for strategic clients of BNP Paribas in Europe (Paris and Geneva), Brazil and Asia (Shanghai).
She speaks French, English, Portuguese & Russian. She has a DECF (Accounting & Finance Degree) and a Master in Business & International Management (Institut Commercial de Nancy).
